What's the difference between a 2D plan and a 3D rendering?
A 2D plan is a top-down blueprint of your space — it shows the layout, dimensions, and placement of all elements like pathways, planting beds, and hardscape areas. A 3D rendering takes that same plan and brings it to life with realistic textures, colors, and depth so you can visualize the finished space from any angle. We typically create both: the 2D plan to nail down the layout, and the 3D rendering so you can truly see your vision before we build it.
What is a custom 3D rendering?
A custom 3D rendering is a photorealistic digital preview of your future outdoor space. Before any work begins, our designers use professional software to build a detailed visual model of your yard — including hardscaping, plantings, lighting, and more — so you can see exactly what you’re getting.
How long does the rendering process take?
Most 3D renderings are completed within 5–7 business days after your initial consultation. More complex projects with multiple zones or detailed features may take a few days longer. We’ll give you a clear timeline upfront.
